Requested Action:
Approve amendment number 13 to the agreement with ANGELA'S CUSTODIAL SERVICE, extending the term to January 31, 2024, substituting the Exhibit B from amendment 11 with new Exhibit B and increasing the maximum cost by $4,034 to provide janitorial services to the child support office at 850 B Main Street, Weaverville, CA. |

Should the Board approve amendment 13 to the agreement with Angela's Custodial Service by modifying Section IV with a new Exhibit B, modifying Section V "Maximum Cost to County" to reflect the new maximum cost of $42,846 and modifying Section XIV "Term of Agreement" to reflect the extended period to go through January 31, 2024. |

We are increasing the maximum cost to $4,034 instead of $3,984 as we did an audit of the payments and contracts and found that there was a error in math for amendment 5 by $140 so we are adjusting to correct maximum amount with this amendment.
As we are a remote rural county it is difficult to find janitorial services who will come and clean our offices during all sorts of weather and we have had no difficulty with Angela's Custodial Service as she lives locally and has not failed to service our building.
Another difficulty in the past was getting the janitorial contract to maintain their insurance after being awarded the contract so we would like to stick with a service that we can rely on and keep the health and safety standards up for both staff and clients. |

Denial of this contract would not allow us to continue using Angela's Custodial Service for our janitorial needs and could jeoparidize the health and safety of staff and clients. |

It is staff's recommendation that the Board approve amendment 13 to Angela's Custodial Service contract extending the term to January 31, 2023.
